To advance equity for women and girls.

Organizational Goals:

1.  Hold monthly public meetings with relevant speakers to educate and inform members regarding topics such as, but not limited to:

• financial security/estate planning for women
• Equal pay for women
• Equal Rights Amendment
• Domestic violence
• Voting Rights

2. Increase membership. 

3. Advance the AAUW Action Network by encouraging all members to subscribe to the Action Network.

4. Partner with other local groups such as the League of Women Voters, Fair Maps SC, and Moms Demand Action, who share our vision.

Regularly Scheduled Meetings

Our meetings are held every third Thursday of the month at 10 am. Currently we are meeting virtually using Zoom. 

Special Events

We have a minimum of two charity events per year. For 2021, we are still considering a Spring event and we are planning a book drive for children during August to address family literacy.
