AAUW’s story begins in 1881, when a small group of female college graduates banded together to open the doors for women’s career advancement and to encourage more women to pursue higher education.

It’s Time to Get This Done!

At our April 15, 2021 meeting we were pleased to welcome Speaker, Barbara Fry of Equal Means ERA.

Equality of rights under the law shall not be abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.”  The ERA would provide a fundamental and universal legal remedy against discrimination of both women and men.
